2008 Town of Robbins ABC Referendum

  Registration Deadline - 8/22/08
  • Must reside within the municipality to participate
  • Forms must be postmarked or brought into the Moore County Board of Elections office by the deadline
  • Register to Vote
    Absentee ballots by mail available - 8/15/08 ~ 9/9/08
  • Send a hand written note specifying you are requesting a ballot for the ABC referendum. 
    The request must include:
          
    • Name
    • Address
    • Mailing address (where ballot should be mailed)
    • Telephone Number
    • Signature
    • If requesting for a near relative, specify relationship (parent, sibling or child)
       
  • Mail requests to:
    Moore County Board of Elections
    PO Box 787
    Carthage, NC  28327
  • Ballots must be received in the Board of Elections office no later than 5:00pm, Monday, September 15, 2008
  • Ballots may be returned by mail (be sure to use sufficient postage) or hand delivered by the
    voter or a near relative.
  • Return ballot envelope must be signed by the voter & two witnesses, including their addresses
    One-Stop Absentee Voting -  8/28/08 ~ 9/13/08
  • Where:  Moore County Board of Elections Office
                 700 Pinehurst Ave., Carthage
     
  • Hours:  Monday - Friday ~ 8:00am - 5:00pm
                Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 ONLY ~ 10:00am - 1:00pm
          
    Voting on Election Day ~ 9/16/08
  • Robbins Precinct:  Davis Community Center

                                Robbins, NC
     
  • Polling place hours:  6:30am - 7:30pm

The mission of the Moore County Board of Elections is to maintain voter registration for the citizens of Moore County, conduct all elections held in Moore County, to include all of its eleven municipalities; assist persons desiring to file for office; administer the Campaign Reporting Act; and ensure the enforcement of all election laws of the State of North Carolina.
