The Moore County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) anticipates the availability of $181,745 dollars in intervention and prevention funds for the services to youth who are adjudicated delinquent or undisciplined or who are at most risk of court involvement. JCPC funds require a local cash or in-kind match of 30%.
Based on JCPC planning process conducted to date, the continuum of program services and structures needed in the County are identified below but are not listed in priority order:
1. Psychological Evaluations
2. Sex Offender Evaluations and Treatment 
3. Juvenile Structured Day
4. Temporary Shelter Care
5. Restitution/Community Service
6. Skill Building (Anger Management Groups)
7. Parent/Family Skill Building
8. Interpersonal Skill Building
9. Teen Court
10.  Mentoring
Local public agencies, 501 ( c)  (3) non-profit corporation and local housing authorities are invited to submit applications (Program Agreements) to provide any of the interventions services listed above.  In order to apply for FY 2015-2016 JCPC funding, applications must complete and submit your application online by accessing NC-ALLIES application at https://cp.ncdjjdp.org/CP/

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

HOUSING REHABILITATION

 

Notice is hereby given that Moore County will receive sealed bids for the rehabilitation of two (2) substandard housing units for its FY12 Scattered Site Housing CDBG until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at the Moore County Planning Department located at 1048 Carriage Oaks Drive, Carthage, North Carolina.  A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference with site visit to all two (2) homes will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 starting at the Moore County Planning Department.

 

Moore County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.  Contractor applications and bid packages including floor plans and work write-ups will be available at the Pre-Bid Conference.

 

The work on these two (2) homes represents a portion of Moore County’s FY12 Scattered Site Housing CDBG project.  The total project cost is $225,000.00 as administered by the N.C. Department of Commerce, Division of Community Assistance.
