EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DIVISION
MISSION:
The mission of the Moore County EMS Division is to preserve and enhance the quality of life for the citizens and visitors of Moore County by continuously providing a compassionate and cost effective pre-hospital medical care and ambulance transport service that is trained to save and dedicated to serve.
Moore County EMS (MCEMS) provides eight Paramedic level ambulances and one EMS Shift Commander vehicle responding from eight strategically located bases throughout the County. Moore County EMS operates on two different shift schedules of 24/48 hours as well as 12 hours. MCEMS provides advanced life support and pre-hospital emergency care for a population of approximately 88,000 in an area of 705 square miles.
