N.C. Dental Public Health Program

The North Carolina Oral Health Section provides prevention and education services on dental health specifically for children.
Specific services include dental assessments and screening, referral and follow-up, oral surveys, health education, health promotion, promotion and monitoring of water fluoridation, and dental sealants. All of our services are aimed at reducing preventable oral diseases including tooth decay, periodontal disease and oral cancer, and reducing the effects of accidents and injuries.
