This web site is presented to you in the interest of participatory government. It is important to the credibility and integrity of county government that citizens have as much information as possible. It is our hope that having accurate information about your county government will encourage you to be informed and engaged in the activities and issues of government.

County governments are complex organizations and provide many federal and state mandated services along with services required and needed by our citizens. This web site is one of the tools needed to access County services and to provide better communication with our citizens.  To simplify the access to services, this web site will have the opportunity for interactive features.  On behalf of the County and staff, we welcome you to the Moore County web site!
