Moore County Public Works consists of the Public Utilities Department, Pollution Control, Solid Waste, Engineering, and Property Management.

Mission
To protect the environment and to preserve and enhance the quality
of life for Moore County Citizens by:

• Providing an adequate supply of safe water to all customers
• Providing environmentally sound wastewater collection and treatment service
• Providing a highly organized and efficient system of solid waste recycling, collection and disposal services
• Providing a prompt and efficient system of maintenance for County facilities and vehicles
