Let our Family Caregiver Specialist, Peggie Kennedy, inform you of the many resources that exist for caregivers; particularly 1) those caring for adults over 60 who have a chronic illness or disability and are living at home, and 2) grandparents over 60 with the responsibility of raising their grandchildren.  Click here for additional information on Family Caregiving.

Volunteer Respite Program
Volunteers complete a 4-hour training course which prepares them to provide in-home respite services to caregivers who need a break.  Not all caregivers situations are appropriate for volunteer help; therefore, an assessment must be conducted prior to participation in this program.  Limited funding is available for paid respite services in the event that a volunteer cannot be utilized.

Please call the Aging office to register for Programs.
