Moore County Department of Aging


Three Diner’s Clubs throughout the County serve a lunch time meal Monday through Friday. These nutritionally balanced meals are catered by Mid South Food Services. In addition to a hot lunch, participants also benefit from fellowship, exercise, and creative activities including special celebrations-birthdays, holidays, summer picnic, and themed parties.

Eligibility criteria does include that the person be over the age of 60 and a resident of Moore County.  Meals are provided on a cost-sharing basis; participants are asked to give what they can afford.
