Moore County Department of Aging

The Home Delivered Meal program relies on the use of volunteers to deliver a hot lunch to homebound older adults in Moore County Monday through Friday.  The meals are prepared by a nutrition caterer and are dispersed from locations throughout the County.  With the help of dedicated volunteers, home delivered meals are provided in the West End/Seven Lakes, Robbins, Carthage, Eagle Springs, Cameron, Vass, Whispering Pines and Taylortown areas.

Eligibility criteria for Home Delivered Meals do require that the person be homebound, 60 years of age or older, resident of Moore County, and they must live within the areas in which we deliver. Meals are provided on a cost-sharing basis, we do ask that people give what they can afford.  For more information please contact Keisha Threadgill at 215-0900.
