S.A.F.E. (Senior Assistance from EMS)
This program is a unique cooperation of resources between the Senior Enrichment Center and Moore County EMS.  EMS personnel will assess environmental and medical needs of “at risk” older adults in their homes.  Department of Aging personnel are available to install smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, safety lighting, etc., as EMS deems it necessary for the safety of the older adult. 

S.A.F.E. was a recipient of the Ralph Ketner Award in 1999.
