Commissioners' June 16th Meeting Information

The commissioners will also convene as the East Moore Water District Board of Directors for a special meeting at 10:15am on Tuesday. That meeting packet is available HERE, and the meeting access information is the same as above for the regular meeting.

The commissioners will hold the public hearing regarding the proposed FY 21 budget for the East Moore Water District during the EMWD special meeting at 10:15am. The commissioners will hold their regular 30 minute public comment period at the beginning of their regular meeting at 10:30am. Later during the 10:30am regular meeting, they will hold the public hearing regarding the proposed FY 21 budget for the County. Instructions for participation in each of these follows:

FY 21 East Moore Water District Budget Public Hearing:

* Sign-ins to speak live during the EMWD budget public hearing on June 16th are due to the Clerk by 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th. Sign up by calling 910-947-6403 or emailing [email protected].
* Written comments to be read by the Clerk during the EMWD budget public hearing on June 16th are due to the Clerk by 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th. Submit to [email protected] or submit online HERE.
* Written comments for the EMWD budget public hearing are accepted until noon on Wednesday, June 17th, but those received after 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th (and by noon on June 17th) will be read into the record when the Board convenes in a special meeting to adopt the budget on a later date. Comments submitted between 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th and 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 17th should also be submitted to the Clerk at [email protected] or online HERE.

Regular Public Comment Period (30 minute comment period held during every regular commissioner meeting):

* Written comments to be read by the Clerk or sign-ins to speak live during the June 16th meeting are both due by 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th. Sign in to speak live by calling 910-947-6403 or emailing [email protected]. Submit written comments to [email protected] or online HERE.

* Written comments to be read by the Clerk during the County budget public hearing on June 16th are due to the Clerk by 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th. Submit to [email protected] or submit online HERE.
* Written comments for the County budget public hearing are accepted until noon on Wednesday, June 17th, but those received after 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th (and by noon on June 17th) will be read into the record when the Board convenes in a special meeting to adopt the budget on a later date. Comments submitted between 8:30am on Tuesday, June 16th and 12:00pm on Wednesday, June 17th should also be submitted to the Clerk at [email protected] or online HERE.
