Access to 5/19/20 EMWD & Commissioners Meetings

The May 19, 2020, 10:15am special meeting of the East Moore Water District Board of Directors and the 10:30am regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners will be conducted remotely via WebEx. To access the meeting(s) online, go to www.webex.com and enter Meeting Number 711 184 561 and Meeting Password 0519. To connect by phone, call 1-408-418-9388 and enter Meeting Number 711 184 561.

If you would like to participate in the Board's regular 30 minute public comment period, you may do so by submitting written comments of 350 words or less to be read by the Clerk during the meeting, or by signing up with the Clerk in advance to speak during the meeting. Written comments and sign-ins must be received no later than 8:30am on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. You may submit written comments online HERE or email them to clerktoboard@moorecountync.gov. You may sign up to speak by emailing clerktoboard@moorecountync.gov or by calling 910-947-6403.

Notice is hereby given that the Moore County Board of Commissioners will convene for a special meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 2:00pm. Due to the COVID-19 State of Emergency, the meeting will be conducted remotely via Webex, and the connection information is provided below.

The purpose of the meeting is to:

* Receive and discuss the Cell 6 Environmental Justice Report
* Discuss the FY 2021 budget

The April 21, 2020, 10:30am regular meeting of the Moore County Board of Commissioners, (and the 10:20am special meeting of the East Moore Water District Board of Directors) will be convened electronically via Webex due to the current COVID-19 State of Emergency.  The meeting agendas will be available later this week.  Attached you will find instructions for accessing the meeting.  Additionally, the connection information is provided at the very end of this email.

The Board’s regular public comment period (up to 30 minutes total) will still be offered, but participation will vary slightly from usual due to the electronic meeting format:

WRITTEN COMMENTS will be read by the Clerk during the public comment portion of the meeting if submitted no later than 8:30am on Tuesday, April 21.  To submit written comments, please click HERE to complete the comment form online, or email your comments of 350 words maximum to clerktoboard@moorecountync.gov.  You may also call the Clerk to submit your comments at 910-947-6403. 

SPOKEN COMMENTS will require sign-up with the Clerk by 8:30am on Tuesday, April 21.  You may contact the Clerk by email at clerktoboard@moorecountync.gov or by phone at 910-947-6403 to sign up to speak, and you will then be called upon to speak during the comment period in the order in which your name was received.  Please limit your comments to no more than three minutes.
