Moore County Government is excited to announce its new Twitter account, @MooreCountyGov.  Through Twitter, Moore County officials will be able to quickly notify the public regarding County news, events and services.  

“This is a great opportunity to allow the public to receive Moore County Government information conveniently and timely,” says County Manager Wayne Vest.  

To follow Moore County Government’s Twitter, visit https://twitter.com/MooreCountyGov and select the “Follow” button.  Once following, citizens will receive access to tweets regarding County news and services.

Maddie's Fund® is a family foundation that awards grants to be used towards increasing community lifesaving, shelter medicine education, and pet adoptions across the U.S.. Earlier this year, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services Division was awarded a $5,000 grant from the Maddie’s Fund foundation. This grant money will be used to create a better adoption environment within the shelter to help facilitate more adoptions, equaling more animals saved from the local community.
