Hillcrest Park is growing! A master plan has been approved and we are making some exciting changes over the next few years on our Hillcrest Park campus. Our four 300 foot baseball/softball fields with field house and concession stand will be joined by the addition of a Recreation Center and Splash Pad. The new center will house indoor basketball courts that will allow for new sports, programs and activites.
Of course your family is still welcome to use the playgrounds and Baseball/Softball fields and picnic shelter are avaliable for rental.

Splash Pad
Where is the Splash Pad located?
At Hillcrest Park at the intersectionon Routes 15/501 and 22. The address is 155 Hillcrest Park Lane.
What are the hours of operation for the Splash Pad?
The Splash Pad is open seasonally. Hours of operation from 10 am to 6pm. Reopening May 20, 2023
How much does it cost?
Free! There is no admission charge

Hillcrest Park Covered Picnic Shelter
Our Hilltop Picnic Shelter is the perfect place for Gatherings, Reunions, Birthday Parties or Special occasions. The minimum rental is $30 for 2 hours and $10 each additional hour. Call 947-2504 to book your dates today.

Lake Luke Marion

Lake Luke Marion is a peaceful lake in downtown Carthage. It is a stocked lake with a pier. No swimming is allowed. There is also a 1/3 mile walking trail around the lake with picnic tables to eat at.
