Notice is hereby given that one Quasi-Judicial Hearing will be held before the Moore County Board of Commissioners at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, Carthage, NC for the following purpose:

C & C Properties of MC, LLC is requesting a Special Use Permit for a Major Conservation Subdivision Preliminary Plat approval for 12 lots on 34.07 acres, ParID# 00039436, located on Bibey Road, Carthage, owned by C & C Properties of MC, LLC as identified in Deed Book 5203, Page 443.

Notice is hereby given that one Public Hearing will be held before the Moore County Board of Commissioners at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in the Board of Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the second floor of the Historic Courthouse, Carthage, NC for the following purpose:

Moore County Planning Staff is requesting the below text amendments to the Moore County Unified Development Ordinance:

1. Chapter 3 (Intent of Zoning Districts), Section 3.16 (Highway Corridor Overlay District), as follows to amend the purpose of the overlay districts, amend Section A. Rural Highway, amend B. Urban Transition, and remove C. Urban/Village.

2. Chapter 7 (General Development Standards), Section 7.8 (Highway Corridor Overlay District) to amend Section A. New Development, amend B. Existing Development, amend C. Exemptions, remove D. Extension, amend E. Maintenance and Changes, remove F. Minimum Lot, Buildings, and Screening Standards, add G. Screening Standards, add H. Prohibited Uses, add I. Conditional Zoning Uses, add J. Storm Water Management, add K. Building Standards, add L. Fences, add M. Parking, add N. Access, add O. Screening along Highway, add P. Vehicular Use Screening, add Q. Dumpster, Mechanical, and Electrical Equipment, Outdoor Storage Screening, add R. Signs, and add S. Lighting.

Information pertaining to the proposed actions is available for inspection in the Moore County Planning & Transportation office at 1048 Carriage Oaks Drive, Carthage, NC 28327 during normal business hours (8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday).  Changes may be made in the application that reflects information presented at the hearing.

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held before the Moore County Board of Commissioners at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room located on the 2nd floor of the Historic Courthouse in Carthage, North Carolina.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following:

An amendment to the Moore County Road Name and Addressing Ordinance to add seven roads to the Ordinance, which are Archdale Dr, Bartlett Ct, Cameron Valley Rd, Hazelton Farms Ln, Paulson Ct, Sloan Ln, and Willow Oak Ct.

Information pertaining to this amendment is available for review at the Moore County GIS Department, located at 302 S. McNeill St, Carthage, NC 28327, during normal business hours.

Interested persons are invited to attend.  Accommodations for individuals with disabilities or impairments will be made upon request to the extent that reasonable notice is given.
