Emergency Management
Mission
Our mission is to coordinate the operation and planning of the Emergency Managment functions of Moore County by assisting all emergency responders with planning, training, and emergency response.
Services
We conduct drills / exercises to test the system, maintain the Multi-Hazard Emergency Operations Plan, and management the Emergency Operations Center during activation.
We also have a Special Operations Team trained and equipped to respond to Hazardous Material and Technical Rescue incidents throughout Moore County.
Emergency Management maintains a forty-eight foot Mobile Command Center capable of acting as a back-up 911 center.
