Overview

Animal Services strives to make sure the animals featured on the web page are current; however, there may be occasional delays in updates.

We always encourage those looking to adopt to call 910-947-2858 or visit the Moore County Animal Services Center located at 5235 Highway 15-501 in Carthage NC.

These listings are updated frequently with detailed information and photos about pets available for adoption at the Animal Services Center. Adoption/Viewing Hours are Monday through Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. Call 910-947-2858 for more information. If you do not find the pet you want, please fill out our Adoption Wish List and we will contact you if a pet becomes available like the one you want.

Canine

  • (1 Year) Rabies Vaccine
  • DHPP
  • Fecal Float with additional deworming if necessary
  • Deworming
  • Heartworm Test
  • Initial Heartworm and Flea/Tick prevention

Feline

  • (1 Year) Rabies Vaccine
  • FVRCP Vaccine
  • Deworming
  • FIV/FeLv Test

Note: The Animal Services Center recommends visiting your veterinarian soon after adopting for a wellness examination and to manage ongoing preventive care.
