System Pressure Advisory!
The water customers of Moore County Public Utilities - Pinehurst (NC0363108) are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to a broken water main on Lake Forest Dr. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system. Once the main break is repaired, Public Utilities operators will flush the affected lines and test the water.
Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease- causing organisms that may be present in the water.
This office is strongly urging the water customers to conserve water whenever possible.
This advisory is only for customers between 100-360 Lake Forest Dr, Lake Forest Pl, Torrey Pines Ln, and Torrey Pines Pl.
This advisory remains in effect until further written notification is issued.
