System Pressure Advisory!
The water customers of East Moore Water District (NC5063011) and Hyland Hills (NC0363103) are experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system due to a water main hit by a fiber contractor. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.
Once water is restored, vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease- causing organisms that may be present in the water.
Water customers are strongly urged to conserve water whenever possible.
This advisory remains in effect until further written notification is issued.
This advisory is for customers along US Hwy 1 South of Vass, Lakeview, Hyland Hills, Skyline Manor, Niagara, Aiken Rd, Youngs Rd, Lakebay Rd and connecting roads.
