Reservations

The Splash Pad is located within the Moore County Sports Complex, which is located at 155 Hillcrest Park Lane, Carthage, NC 28387 at the intersection of Routes 15/501 and 22.

The Splash Pad is open to the public daily from mid-May through Labor Day and weekends in September. It may be closed without notice due to weather and/or maintenance. 

Hours of Operation

• Open seasonally
• 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Daily from Saturday, May 17, 2025 through Monday, September 1, 2025 (Labor Day)
• Weekends in September to include September 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th 

Admission Charge

FREE! There is no admission charge to use the Splash Pad

Please observe the following rules:

1. Shower required before entering. 
2. Proper swimming attire is required.
3. No lifeguard on duty, area is unsupervised.
4. Maximum Capacity: 177 patrons
5. Please Walk! No Running! Slippery Surfaces!
6. Children should have adult supervision at all times. 
7. At the first sign of thunder or lightning, vacate the area and seek shelter.
8. Please keep pets out of the area.
9. Enjoy the water but please do not climb on the equipment or drink the water. 
10. Glass is prohibited. Broken glass and bare feet do not mix.
11. Water shoes/sandals are recommended. 
12. Swim diapers are required for our diaper-wearing patrons. 
13. Bikes, skateboards, and skates are not permitted. 
14. The site may close without notice due to maintenance or operational needs. 
15. Most importantly: HAVE FUN!
