Stephan Lapping is the third of four children in a military family. He lived in five different states and three foreign countries before graduating high school. Earning a BA from UNC Greensboro and a JD from UNC School of Law, he was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1986. Stephan has lived in Moore County since 1991.
