Annette M. McGraw

County Attorney
Title: NC Certified Paralegal | Conference Administrator
Phone: 910-947-4016

Annette Lesh-McGraw started working with the Moore County Attorney’s Office in March of 2004 and became a North Carolina Certified Paralegal in 2007.   During her years here at Moore County Attorney’s Office, she’s assisted and worked closely with a few DSS Attorneys over the years.

In 2012, because of a need for continued paralegal education and limited offerings as to DSS paralegals, she and the DSS attorney (at that time) had an idea for Moore County Attorney’s office to offer legal education.  After research and approval from both the County Attorney and BOCC, this idea became a reality.  What started in 2012 as just an idea for DSS certified paralegals, expanded. Now each year, continuing legal education is offered to local government and private practice attorneys and paralegals all over the State of North Carolina, who need legal education.  Annette’s job description changed in 2012 to include Event Coordinator/Conference Administrator for the Local Government Conference for Attorneys and Paralegals; and she enjoys planning the CLE-CPE events each year.

Annette was appointed to the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) in November of 2016 as a Commissioner Appointee.  She has been acting as Chair for the past few years.

A graduate from Newport H.S. in Pennsylvania, she later received a Ministerial Degree from Zion Bible Institute (now Northpoint Bible College), located in New England.  When Annette is not working, she is involved in her different hobbies and activities.  A singer/songwriter, she enjoys giving voice lessons; leading worship, and traveling to different churches to help in their time of need (music and speaking).  She has been in North Carolina about 27 years now and enjoys Moore County (located between beaches and mountains); which makes it easy for weekend trips to some of her favorite places!
