Public Swimming Pools

The Health Department issues permits and performs inspections for public swimming pools in Moore County. The inspections cover safety aspects and pool water quality to prevent the spread of disease and to protect the public's health. Seasonal pools are permitted and inspected once per year. Year-round pools are inspected twice per year. Plan Review and approval is required for any public pool prior to the start of construction. Pools must be constructed according to the approved plans or permits will not be issued.
