About
Sensory Santa is an sensory-friendly event that is held every December for adults and children of all ages and abilities and their family members. Families are able to meet with Santa in a one-on-one setting without crowds and noise.
Purpose
Moore County Public Safety partners with other local first responders and local resources to provide families with helpful information.
This event allows for families to learn about local resources and speak with representatives.
First Responders from local agencies are on sight to answer questions and also enhance their knowledge about families with sensory-sensitive family members. Moore County Public Safety feels it is important to grow our knowledge about the medically fragile and sensory-sensitive community in the event there is an emergency we are prepared to assist the patient and family with their needs.
